Imam Jamil Al Amin by Imam Khalid Griggs
Imam Jamil Al-Amin, formerly H Rap Brown, is a political prisoner currently being held in federal prison in Tucson, AZ on charges that another man, Otis Jackson, has credibly consistently confessed to for over 20 years. Prison officials have denied Imam Jamil necessary eye surgery for cataracts rendering him unable to see. We must demand that Imam Jamil be provided surgery to restore his sight, be transferred back to a location closer to his family and lawyers, and be given a new trial and/or exonerated.
