On the 7th day of Shawal 1445 A.H. (April 16, 2024) the office of Atlanta's Mayor Andre Dickens hosted  it's first ever Eid

Al-Fitr Dinner at Atlanta City Hall.  This event was made possible by ISB of Atlanta, and the collaboration of many of it's partners in the Atlanta metro area.  The event was also  a "who's who" of the Atlanta Muslim community.  The attendance was a total success.  There was representation of many of the Masaajid of the Atlanta area.  In attendance was leadership from the Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam, Masjid Al-Mominoon, The Community Masjid, and Al-Farooq Masjid of Atlanta, just to name a few.  

Mayor Dickens welcomed everyone and committed to continue  working with the Atlanta Muslim community on future collaborative efforts.  

We would like to thank Mayor Dickens, his staff, ISB, and all who came together to make this event a reality.
