Verily, we are from God and to God is our return.  

Zaynab Joseph was known for her loving, caring, positive presence everywhere she went—and she has lived in many communities and touched so many lives.  

When she fell to her demise on April 15, 2024, in a tragic hiking accident in Sedona, AZ, she wasn’t just taken from her husband, three young children, parents, siblings, and all her family, but also from countless friends, co-workers, students, and colleagues.  

Zaynab made so many people feel cherished, valued, and loved.  So many would say she was one of their best friends.  She always had a smile.  She laughed through thick and thin.  She was a gift. Her soul has returned to her Lord but the memories, words of encouragement and comfort, and love she shared will stay with us, Alhamdulillah.  

So many knew her and so many may be looking for a way to help, something to do for her and her loved ones.  

We are collecting funds to help lay her body to rest in her hometown of Toledo, Ohio.  Money raised here will go directly towards the cost of the funeral and burial expenses, Inshallah.
