The streets of Havana were quiet following the announcement of Castro’s death on Friday night. Young Cubans have gathered at the Malecon sea wall in the capital expressing their sorrow. President Raul Castro says the body of the former leader will be cremated, based on Fidel’s wishes. The government has announced Nine days of mourning for the late leader and his funeral is set for December four.
World leaders have paid tribute to the late Cuban revolutionary leader who is known for his stance against the US and other Western states.
