To those countries which are now issuing statements critical of the efforts by the International coalition forces to shield

Wooden Shutter Of A Ghurfa In Nalut, Libya

To China and Russia I would like to say “where were you when Ghaddafi was terrorizing my people?” asks Nizar Awad.

Libyan citizens from Ghaddafi’s onslaughts I would like to say “Back off now or you will be considered by the Libyans as partners in the crimes being committed against them”.

You are not fooling anybody by your statement regarding foreign intervention and other inflated concerns for the sovereignty of the Libyan people.

To China and Russia I would like to say “where were you when Ghaddafi was terrorizing my people?” The governments of China and Russia are no role models when it comes to human rights.

Russia’s support for the murderous regime of Slobodan Miloshevich during the 1990’s Kosovo war and the genocide against the Muslims of Bosnia-Herzegovina in the former Yugoslavia is still fresh in our minds.

Believe or not Ghaddafi took the side of Miloshevich in that war under the pretext of helping maintain the unity of the former Yugoslavia but in reality he did so just to spite the West and in turn hamper efforts to rescue the Bosnian Muslims from the ethnic cleansing being perpetrated by the marauding Serbian armies.

China’s ongoing oppression of the people of Tibet, the 1989 massacre of protesters in Tiananmen Square and the recent crackdown on the Uyghur Muslims in the Xinjiang province disqualify her as a legitimate advocate for peaceful coexistence and human rights.

It is obvious that the positions being taken by China, Russia, India and Germany to shield or help sustain the criminal Ghaddafi and his regime have only one purpose and that is to secure oil contracts in Libya. Their gamble on the survival of the Libyan regime would surly fail and the Libyan people would pay them back in kind for their efforts to prop a dictator while he is putting them to the sword.

Among the countries objecting to ouster this murderous maniac, the one country whose stance really shocked me is India. How in the world could a country that presumably prides itself for its democracy to the extent that it wants to be known as “the largest democracy in the world” suddenly discard all moral values and democratic principles due to the lure of oil contracts?

To those Arab countries and Arab individuals who are maintaining eerie silence towards the horrors of the Ghaddafi regime, flip-flopping on their stances, or clandestinely supporting the murderers in Tripoli I would like to say, your day of reckoning is surly coming. When you Mr. Amr Musa, speaking on behalf of the Arab League, called for a no fly zone over Libya to protect the besieged Libyan people, Libyans and Arabs applauded your courage and even elevated you to the level of an Arab hero.

Nowadays when Libyans needed sustained support for the rescue missions being conducted by the international coalition, you, for reasons unbeknown to us, are making noises about civilian causalities due to airstrikes.

The airstrikes as far as I know are directed at Ghaddafi’s air force and heavy guns and tanks bombarding my people and those killed are no civilians but army combatants maintaining or operating Ghaddafi’s killing machines.

To the Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad and the Algerian dictator Abdulaziz Boutaflika I would like to say that your clandestine operations involving the smuggling of mercenaries and weapons to support Ghaddafi in his war against innocent civilians, are known to the people of Libya and the international community.

Rest assured that the Tripoli regime will be completely destroyed and sooner or later it would be your turn to face the music and guess what side the victorious Libyan people would take in any uprising to topple you and your decadent regimes? I dare you to guess. You are partners and participants in the killing fields engineered by the regime and your hands are forever stained with the blood of our immortal martyrs who died defending the dignity, honor and freedom of their people and some of whom may have lost their lives at the hands of your mercenaries or shot by the weapons you smuggled into Libya.

To President of Venezuela Hugo Chavez Venezuela, President Evo Morales of Bolivia and President Daniel Ortega of Nicaragua I would also like to say “Why don’t you just mind your own business and stick to your Latin American failed policies and naive visions of world socialism”.

Whenever I read such leaders’ statements in support of Ghaddafi and against the will of nations as expressed in Resolution 1973 to stand together against the murders being systematically perpetuated by their comrade Muammar al-Ghaddafi, I can’t help but wonder what could be the real motives behind their concerted defiance.

One the reasons could be that these obedient pupils of the aging Cuban godfather of world revolution Fidel Castro did not want to be overmatched by their mentor in Havana who beat them to the bunch and sided with Ghaddafi and wagered all his gambling money on the dictator’s survival.

By the way Castro and Ghaddafi go way back. As far as I remember Castro was the only leader in attendance when Ghaddafi declared the establishment of the Great Socialist People’s Libyan Arab Jamahiriya (government of the masses) and the mother of all lies on March 2nd 1977. Is it any wonder that the trio including Castro, Chavez and Ortega are all recipients of al-Ghaddafi’s international prize for human rights?

Mr. Morales would have probably gotten himself into tizzy by now knowing that he was that close to getting his hand on the bundle of money that comes with the prize. What have these leaders seen in Libya beside Ghaddafi’s tent and his mansions located just a stone’s throw away? I believe that none of them had any up close and personal tours in Libyan cities let alone making any contacts with people on the street to see for themselves the misery and fear surrounding their everyday lives.

Who among them could have refused an all expense-paid trip to Libya where they would be wined and dined at the expense of the deprived citizens of the country and on top of that they would be awarded accolades for their efforts to save humanity and their sacrifices for the betterment of the human condition that, according to the agenda of their socialist camp, go above and beyond the call of duty.

To all countries and leaders concerned including those mentioned above I would like to add that the Libyan people with the help of Allah (God) and the overwhelming majority of world governments and population will surely triumph and consequently join the civilized community of nations governed by freedom, democracy and respect for human rights.

Libya would become a member of the societies that encourage equal opportunities and economic freedom as well as individual and group initiatives. Once Allah’s (God’s) willing total victory is achieved Libya would join hands with the nations that are now helping us and would become a partner in any future efforts to help other people overthrow their despotic leaders and achieve freedom and democracy.

Finally I would like, on behalf of the Libyan people, to extend our gratitude and appreciation to all the countries that are fighting on our side and putting the lives of their own people in harm’s way to rescue us from imminent danger including the USA, France, The United Arab Emirates, England, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Norway and Qatar.
