Who Are You Calling Garbage

It’s been days since Donald Trump stood in front of the world and called Black Somali immigrants “garbage,” and not ONE white evangelical pastor, not ONE white preacher, and not ONE Trump-aligned Black pastor has opened their mouth to condemn it.

TRUTH IN THE MIRROR

Not one.

If they truly believed Psalm 139 — that we are fearfully and wonderfully made —

If they truly believed Genesis 1 — that all humans are made in God’s image —

SOMEONE should’ve spoken up.

But the white pastors won’t speak up because they are committed to protecting whiteness, not righteousness.

And the Black pastors won’t speak up because they are sycophantic cowards and self-loathing sellouts bowing to power instead of standing with God’s people.

Silence in the face of racism is sin.

Silence in the face of dehumanization is complicity.

Silence when God’s children are called “garbage” is BLASPHEMY.

Tomorrow, I’m preaching a word everyone needs to hear:

“WHO ARE YOU CALLING GARBAGE?”

Psalm 139:14 — We are fearfully and wonderfully made.
