UAE-backed Forum for Promoting Peace. I respect and honor the life-long contributions of Shaikh Bin Bayyah (I also feel that he is sincere in his thinking), but he is wrong in giving legitimacy to the Middle Eastern tyrants. According to this article, his rejection of the revolutionary movements of the Arab Spring is what led him to publicly take a stand in favor of the rulers. I'm sorry. The Shaikh is wrong. I wonder what he would have thought of the Civil Rights movement with it's strategy of breaking the law or the Black Power movement which delegitimized oppressive rulers.
