Today Sheereen Abdul Kabir and her colleagues finalized their projects and presented them to a panel of members from Leadership

Global Young Innovators Initiative Daily Update

Initiatives, including Executive Director and Founder, Marshall Bailly.

Sheereen also participated in an Innovation Lab on networking and cross-pollinating ideas. The final project presentations included the students’ ideas for solutions to their business’s specific issues, and how to implement those solutions in a sustainable way.

The day ended with a networking social where the talented students of GYII solidified the connections they’ve made over the past several days—connections that are sure to last long after the program is over.

As a reminder, all adults must present a photo ID at the sign-out table.

For families who will be traveling to the conference site, we wanted to provide you with a few additional details for departure day to ensure that pick-up is as smooth as possible.

1. Plan your trip so that you arrive between 10:00 am and 11:30 am. If you will be arriving after this time, please contact the program office at 888-315-6552 ([phone] for international calls).
2. Parking will be available in the Peavine Parking Lot located at 27 Eagle Row Road for a small fee.
3. After parking, please proceed to the shuttle meeting location which is marked with yellow curbs and bus signs. A university shuttle will take you to Asbury Circle where there is a short walk to Longstreet-Means for check-out.
4. In Longstreet-Means you will sign Sheereen out of the program. A photo ID is required for check-out.
5. After sign out, you will proceed back to Asbury circle to catch a shuttle back to the parking location.
