In recent weeks, the United Kingdom has seen a disturbing rise in attacks on immigrants, sparked by a false story that an immigrant stabbed

several people and killed two little girls. This story, which has been thoroughly debunked, has been used by far-right groups to justify violence and
intimidation against asylum seekers and other vulnerable migrant communities.
The parallels between these attacks and the long history of racial violence in the United States are impossible to ignore. For centuries, false rumors

and stereotypes about people of color have been used to justify violence and discrimination, from the lynchings of black men in the Jim Crow
South to the destruction of all-black towns like Rosewood, Florida and Black Wall Street in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
In each case, these acts of violence were based on deeply ingrained prejudices and fears, fueled by lies and misinformation.

The recent attacks on immigrants in the UK are no different. They are the result of a toxic mix of anti-immigrant sentiment, Islamophobia, and
racist propaganda, spread by far-right groups and amplified by social media. These actions are the latest manifestations of the death knell of global
white supremacy.

The consequences of this violence are devastating, both for the victims and for society as a whole. Immigrants and asylum seekers are being
targeted simply for who they are, forced to live in fear and uncertainty, and denied the basic human rights and dignity that they deserve.

At the same time, these attacks are tearing apart communities, sowing division and mistrust, and undermining the values of tolerance and diversity
that are so essential to a healthy, democratic society.
It is crucial that we take action to address this problem, both in the UK and around the world. This means holding those responsible for these
attacks accountable, whether they are far-right extremists, mainstream politicians who stoke anti-immigrant sentiment, or social media companies
that allow hate speech to flourish on their platforms.
But it also means addressing the root causes of these attacks, including the economic and social inequalities that drive people to migrate in the first
place, and the systemic racism and discrimination that marginalize and exclude certain groups. We must work to build more inclusive, equitable
societies, where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their race, ethnicity, or national origin.
This will not be easy, and it will require the efforts of individuals, communities, and governments around the world. But it is a challenge that we
cannot afford to ignore.

The recent attacks on immigrants in the UK are a stark reminder of the devastating consequences of hate and prejudice, and of the urgent need to
build a more just, equitable, and inclusive world.
In conclusion, the recent attacks on immigrants in the UK, based on a false story, are a chilling reminder of the long history of racial violence and
discrimination in both the US and the UK.
The actions of far-right groups, fueled by anti-immigrant sentiment and Islamophobia, are reminiscent of the lynchings and destruction of all-black
towns in the US.
It is crucial that we take action to address this problem, both in the UK and around the world, by holding those responsible accountable and
addressing the root causes of these attacks.
The creation of more inclusive, equitable societies is crucial if we are to build a more just, equitable and inclusive world. The world is no longer
just black and white it is black, white, brown, and beige.
“ And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the difference of your languages and colours. Verily, in that
are indeed signs for men of sound knowledge.” Qur’an - 30:22
