21st Century American Tyranny

Tyranny is the abuse/misuse of authority [oftentimes of a government office] that is used in an exploitative manner to bolster a particular individual’s [or a select, exclusive group’s] status to their economical, material, monetary and political advantage and benefit in a way that is detrimental and disadvantageous to the masses over whom they govern.

What is occurring under the policies the forty seventh president is enacting is sheer injustice and absolute tyranny. He and his cohorts are defying all conventional, standard modes of governmental operation. The rule of law is being blatantly circumvented while normal parliamentary procedure is outright disregarded. Two of the most extreme acts of tyranny thus far are the imminent firing of hundreds of thousands of government employees and the imposition of tariff taxes that are sure to have a devastating impact on the lives of hundreds of millions of people who will be unable to make ends meet regarding their food, clothing, housing and medical expenses. 

The manner in which thousands upon thousands of people are being terminated from their jobs for no good reason – jobs that are vital to the health, welfare and well-being of the general population – poses an absolute danger to the lives of the majority of the people living in this country. The dissolution of government agencies that monitor and enforce regulations to oversee the administration of services vital to the health and survival of the people is careless, insensitive and reckless. It goes against all that is consistent with the idea of non-partisan equity, fairness, justice and prosperity. It fosters discrimination and exclusivity. Furthermore, as it will impact select demographic groups much more so than others; the implications of racism cannot be dismissed, disregarded and/or overlooked. The head of ‘doge’ has referred to certain segments of the american body politic as a ‘parasite-class’. Such language is despicable and clearly meant to castigate and dehumanize those so determined to be in that category.

D.t. and his millionaire maga supporters in both houses of congress didn’t blink when they were pushing a government ‘shut-down’ prior to his election. Such an act would have been catastrophic for millions of everyday people, including military personnel. This clearly indicates that trump and his cabala don’t care the least bit about the taxpayers. In a similar vein, they are looking to terminate the jobs of millions of the american public, many who, once again, are retired military veterans; totally unconcerned about the welfare and well-being of the average, everyday, working-class man and woman. As for the tariffs he intends to impose, when asked about the difficulty they are going to cause the majority of the people; d.t. publicly stated that… “They’ll understand.”

Yeah! The people are beginning to understand that he and his billionaire constituents don’t have the public's interest at heart and are only concerned about adding to their personal coffers. The only ones who will benefit from these impending tariffs are the super-rich multi-millionaire and billionaire heads of the major corporations, their boards of directors, boards of trustees and investor groups. They all stand to gain an extreme amount of profit while meaning bankruptcy and despair for the majority of the american electorate.

In the interim the profane racist tendencies of trump and his pack of deviants has become clear as day. His vice president took the initiative to call-out German politicians for not accepting the narratives and social policies of the far-right ‘AfD’ political party that espouses divisive, neo-nazi, racist sentiments reflective of many of the ideals and distorted norms promoted by ‘maga’ forces here in the states. He took it a step further by criticizing them for censoring the hate-filled pronouncements of such extremist elements in German society. All along he is an active advocate of the anti-woke policies here in the u.s.a. that seek to eliminate details of slavery, the post reconstruction and jim-crow eras as well as the struggles of the civil-rights movement from the narrative of this country's history. The extent of the hypocrisy of he, trump and their hordes of ‘maga’ racist fanatics is obscenely obnoxious beyond the wildest imagination.

In the midst of all of this chaos; driven by a demented, deranged, twisted psyche; trump is now expressing outrageous ambitions to encroach on Gaza, Greenland and Panama. One to not be outdone; he is obviously obsessed with eclipsing netanyahu, putin and xi in their imperialistic, tyrannical exploits playing out in Palestine, Ukraine and Taiwan, respectively. He is most certainly ‘out of his mind’! The fact that half of the u.s. electorate put him in office says a lot about the american ‘body-politic’; as he encapsulates and mirrors the emotional disposition, racist tendencies, and distorted values of home-grown alt-right/far-right nationalist extremists.

All of the above depict a ‘textbook’ illustration of a state of 21st century american tyranny. Regretfully, for all practical purposes, the worst is yet to come. The good news however is that tyranny is bound to fail, in this world and the next. There is never any good outcome for tyrants or their legions of blind fools!

The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, once said: “The arrogant and the tyrants will be gathered on the Day of Resurrection as tiny particles. The people will trample upon them due to their disgrace before GOD Almighty.”
