Over the last few days, I have observed along with the rest of the Nation, the Globe through sound-bites, the return of a Soul to its Lord. 

The Soul embodied the authority of a ruler/leader and that of equally important son, brother, husband, father, and friend. This man enjoyed the privelege of wealth and fame and the humanity of joy, fear, loss and regret.

He was celebrated in the hallowed halls of State and will rest in soil that gird some of the greater minds of our time, but at the end of the day none of these material symbols of status will matter, they will be left behind. All that will follow will be his deeds. 

His "whiteness" won't matter in his final resting place, his Presidential Seal will only weigh in as reflects his deeds. As every man (woman), he will be questioned: Who is your Lord What be your Faith and Who is its Messenger ...

He will have known of Allah, Islam and Muhammad and regrettably he will have caused great harm to the Societies that preserve these Truths.  He will even come face-to-face with the Prophet of Islam, peace and blessings be upon him, and to his great surprise he (the man) will come to know that Muhammad has been deemed by his Lord and mine, a Mercy for all of Humanity ... yes, including him. I'd love to be the proverbial "fly on the wall".

"Indeed, in this [Quran] is notification for a worshiping people. And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds."
