As Salaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah!

It is with a very sad heart that I have to convey to you today that our Brother Salah Abdul-Razacq was involved in an accident on his motorcycle .

  Salah is son of our sister Khadijah, and the husband of our sister Zaynab Ansari.  He was one of our first hufaadh who graduated from Dar un Uloom in  Atlanta.  We pray for his speedy recovery and a full cure for his condition. 

Alhumdulilah! Salah is out of  surgery, the next 24 hours are very critical ,  and we ask that you pray for his speedy recovery...Please keep sending up the Dua...the most power thing the believer has is his or her Dua... direct connect to the Lord of the Worlds...

We just received news that our brother Salah Abdul Razacq has returned to Allah, may Allah have mercy on his soul and allow him to enter paradise...

كلكم راعي وكلٍ مسوؤل عن رعيته

 

قُلۡ إِنَّ صَلَاتِى وَنُسُكِى وَمَحۡيَاىَ وَمَمَاتِى لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِينَ (١٦٢) لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ ۥۖ وَبِذَٲلِكَ أُمِرۡتُ وَأَنَا۟ أَوَّلُ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ (١٦٣

 

لله ما أخذ ولله ما أعطى

الحمد لله رب العالمين القائل في كتابه المبين «ولنبلونكم بشيء من الخوف والجوع ونقص من الأموال والأنفس والثمرات، وبشر الصابرين الذين إذا أصابتهم مصيبة قالوا إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون، أولئك عليهم صلوات من ربهم ورحمة وأولئك هم المهتدون»، والقائل سبحانه «إنك ميت وإنهم ميتون».

And surely We shall try you with something of fear and hunger, and loss of wealth and lives and crops; but give glad tidings to the steadfast, (155) Who say, when a misfortune striketh them: Lo! we are Allah's and lo! unto Him we are returning. (156) Such are they on whom are blessings from their Lord, and mercy. Such are the rightly guided. (157)

On the night of Monday, October 5th, the lives of a loving family and an entire community were changed forever when Coach Salah Abdul-Razacq, an adoring husband, father, and inspiring mentor, was struck in a hit-and-run car accident. He was immediately hospitalized and in critical condition for days. At a blessed time on the blessed day of Friday in the blessed month of Dhul-Hijjah, our beloved brother Salahuddin passed away in Knoxville, Tennessee with family at his side. After nearly a week in the hospital fighting for his life, Coach Salah was finally called to return to his Lord right before Fajr on Friday, October 9th, 2015.

Coach Salah was the Physical Education instructor for 200 children at Annoor Academy in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was also a very active community member of the Muslim community in Knoxville and also Atlanta in previous years. He is survived by his wife, Ustadha Zaynab Ansari of Tayseer Seminary, and his three young children: Salah Junior, Layla, and Nusayba. He is also survived by his mother Khadija and sister Kamilah....
