Georgia Muslims! We're several days  away, God willing, from Ibtihaj Muhammad's Oct. 29th visit to Atlanta. You'll have two chances to see her, iA: first, join us @ 2 pm for a Voter Turnout Rally (FREE & open to the public) at the Center for Civil & Human Rights. Then, if you're available @ 7 pm, join CAIR Georgia for a private dinner (tickets on sale) with Ibtihaj at Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam. Join CAIR Georgia on Saturday, Oct. 29th, for a fundraising dinner featuring our special guest and keynote speaker: Olympic athlete Ibtihaj Muhammad!

As the Georgia chapter of America's largest and oldest Muslim civil rights organization, CAIR serves, protects and advocates for our state's Muslim community.

Join us to show support for CAIR-GA, celebrate Ibtihaj Muhammad's accomplishments, and inspire your family to follow in her groundbreaking footsteps.

We will host this special dinner at 7:00 pm in the event hall of Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam, insha Allah.

You can purchase a general admission ticket for $75 or you can purchase a seat at Ibtihaj's table for $125. Space for this table is limited! First come, first serve.

Finally, we also encourage you to attend a free voter turnout rally at featuring Ibtihaj at 2 pm. Hosted by CAIR-GA, the Georgia Muslim Voter Project and I-PAC, the rally will occur at 2 pm, iA. Location TBA.

Asalaamu Alaykum Brothers & Sisters: This is Edward Ahmed Mitchell, attorney and executive director of the Georgia chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations.  As you may know, a rebooted and rejuvenated CAIR-GA has spent the past six months serving, protecting and advocating for Georgia Muslims. By the grace of Allah SWT, we have countered anti-Muslim discrimination, educated Georgia Muslims about their rights, and delivered a positive image of Islam to our neighbors. In order build upon that progress by hiring additional staff and establishing a full-time civil rights office, CAIR-GA invites you to buy a seat at a fundraising dinner on Saturday, Oct. 29th, that will, insha Allah, feature a special guest and keynote speaker: We will host this fundraising dinner at 7:00 pm in the event hall of Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam, insha Allah.  You can currently purchase a discounted general admission ticket here for $50 or you can purchase a seat at Ibtihaj's table for $125. Children 16 and under must register, but receive free admission. Space for this event is limited.
