(Plainfield, IN 7/16/15)  The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), the oldest and largest American Muslim umbrella

organization, today condemned the deadly attack in Chattanooga, Tennessee that took the life of 4 military personnel and injured at least 3 others include a police officer.

In a statement, ISNA President Azhar Azeez said:

"We wholeheartedly condemn the horrific actions of the shooter who claimed the lives of US military personnel. These violent acts are unjustifiable and are a gross violation of the spirit of Ramadan, a month of charity, mercy and forgiveness . We offer our condolences, support and prayers to the families of the victims."
