While groups like ISIS target Christians in the name of Islam, one of Zaytuna’s first graduates, Faatimah Knight, now pursuing a master’s degree at the Chicago Theological Seminary, has done something completely different: Following the burning of eight black churches after the recent massacre in Charleston, SC, Faatimah launched an online fundraising campaign that has raised more than $75,000, in just over a week, to ensure that Muslims help rebuild those black churches.

Faatimah’s effort attracted international media attention, helping change the narrative about how Muslims treat people of other faiths. The campaigncan be found here: http://bit.ly/1dBh5uA
