Islam becomes the fastest growing Religion in Japan. Allah Hu Akbar

In fact, in an East Asian country like Japan, almost 112,000 to 230,000 people have embraced Islam, making it one of the countries where religion is growing rapidly.

Although Japan did not welcome Muslims in the past, in recent years, they have become more receptive to religious or cultural understandings that differ from theirs. Muslims in Japan come from various national, ethnic, cultural and lifestyle backgrounds.

Some Japanese Muslims strictly follow their traditions such as prayer and fasting, while others are more liberal. Many factors are driving the rapid growth of the Muslim population in Japan as follows:

First, in Japan, about half of the settled Muslims are married. This suggests that Japan will have more second and third generation Muslims in the future.

This new generation of Muslims will be exposed to diverse cultural and social backgrounds and will be the key to bridging traditional Japanese society with the Muslim community.

Second, economic growth. The second big reason why the Muslim population is concentrated in Japan is because of economic growth. People from Muslim-majority countries such as Iran, Pakistan, Indonesia, Bangladesh and others come to Japan as workers
