Please feel free to bring educational materials to distribute to the participants. Arrive 10 -15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time and allow 10-15 minutes of extra time for networking after the forum ends. The Interfaith Round Table was chaired by Chairman John Eaves, and was attended by more than 60 representatives from an array of religious and civic organizations in the Atlanta metro area.  The theme of the round table was the present climate of violence existing in our society, and how to quell it for our mutual survival.  

A special thanks goes out to  our brothers and sisters at the Soka Gakkai International for hosting the gatherings at their magnificent facility. 

Interfaith Round Table ...Atlanta, Ga. With Chairman John Eaves...Imam Abdullah  Jaber of Al-Farooq Masjid

Among the attendees was our  Imam Abdullah Jaber of Al-Farooq Masjid of Atlanta, who participated in the round table discussion and led the group in the benediction pray. 

Purpose

The roundtable is one of the several initiatives from the Office of the Chairman for greater  interfaith/multicultural dialogue to increase understanding. The proposed roundtable will provide an opportunity to educate and enlighten ourselves as well as other interfaith leaders, stakeholders, advocates, policy makers and the public at large. We will identify areas to prevent hate crimes through meaningful engagement, education and social action.
