With profound sadness and a heavy heart, we announce the passing of a cherished member of our community, Br. Tauquir Warsi. Tauquir Bhai was a long-time board member of Al-Farooq Masjid of Atlanta, and his departure is a great loss to us all.

Br. Tauquir was not just a member, but a pillar of our commuity. For many years, he dedicated his strength and efforts to building and nurturing the Islamic community in Atlanta. His unwavering commitment, deep faith, and tireless work have left an indelible mark on the hearts of those he touched.

The Janazah (funeral prayer) will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Al-Farooq Masjid, at 2 PM. We invite the community to join us in paying respects to a man who was much more than a board member – he was a beacon of light and guidance for many.

Let us come together to pray for our brother, asking Allah to grant him the highest place in Jannah and to provide comfort and solace to his family during this difficult time.
