The 2022 Super Bowl ticket packages can start at $5,822.50 per person. Depending on seat location and package details, listings even go up to $25,925.00 per person for VIP sections in their Club 67 Hospitality section. Advertisers Anheuser-Busch, Pepsi, and Frito-Lay had to pay an average of 6.5 million U.S. dollars to air a 30-second long commercial during the Super Bowl LVI broadcast. Meanwhile, with more than half a million Americans unhoused, the U.S. is still struggling to solve the homelessness crisis.

Struggling against all odds, in the midst of discriminatory practices both outside of and within millionaires, billionaires, and philanthropic organizations with the means, even with 45-year historical evidence of 'good deeds' unfortunately, there are structural inequities that have become institutionalized and must be acknowledged and addressed before restorative justice can or will ever be achieved.

Should anyone care? I don’t know. But what I do know, that:
