Eze Chukwuemeka Eri is a traditional ruler, specifically the Eze (king) of Enugwu Aguleri in Igbo tradition. He also holds the title Eze Aka ji Ovo Igbo, which translates to "Custodian of the Sacred Ovo Eri". He is known for his role in preserving and promoting Igbo culture and traditions

He is actively involved in activities aimed at preserving and transmitting Igbo culture and traditions to future generations. HM also took time out of his busy schedule to visit the King Center in Atlanta, Ga. 

Aka Ikenga is immensely proud to announce its association with the Council of Igbo States in America [CISA] and extends its sincere gratitude to CISA for the gracious invitation to the upcoming 20th Annual 25 Igbo Worldwide Festival of Arts and Culture.

This year’s festival, themed “Reconnecting with Our Ancestors at Igbo Landing,” resonates deeply with the core values of Aka Ikenga. It’s a powerful and timely reminder of the importance of preserving our rich heritage, celebrating our vibrant culture, and strengthening the bonds that tie us to our ancestral past.

We are thrilled to confirm that a delegation from Aka Ikenga will be present at this significant event. We look forward to actively participating in the festival’s activities and felicitating with all attendees, especially His Royal Majesty Eze Chukwuemeka Eri, the Aka ji ofo Igbo, whose presence underscores the historical and cultural gravity of this gathering.
