Dear Comrade:

 

I want to introduce to you one of the women whom your gift has helped.  It is my pleasure for you to meet Germaine, a very motivated young woman.

"I came to Bukavu to look for work. I have a small job where I earn $3 a week.

 

This money helps me but it is very limited. It does not meet all my needs. I live at my sister's house. She is the one who takes care of me even though I have a job.

 

I missed a good job in the past because I did not have computer skills. This motivated me. I came to the Maman Shujaa Center to learn the computer.

 

Thanks to the Center I currently have a considerable level in computer skills, and hope for the future."

Thanks to your generous support, when women come to the Mama Shujaa Center in Bukavu, they have the opportunity to learn computer skills and get access to computers and the internet - which most women in Congo do not have.

 

I want women in Bukavu to always have access to these opportunities and resources, and even more.  I want the Center to become a permanent fixture in the community.
