Friday, The Blessed Day Of The Week...

“Indeed, ALLAH and His Angels send blessings on the Prophet. O you who believe! Send blessings on him and salute him with worthy greetings of peace!” 33:56

 

The Messenger of ALLAH (pbuh) stated about salah and darood, especially on Fridays:

“Friday is one of your best days. It was on it that day Adam (pbuh) was created, and it was on that day his soul was taken, it is on that day the Trumpet will be blown and it is on that day that the Swoon will occur. So, enhance the frequency with which you send blessings on me because your blessings are conveyed to me.” “O Rasoolullah!”: they exclaimed. “How will our blessings be delivered to you when you have passed away?” He replied: “Indeed, ALLAH, The Almighty and Sublime, has forbidden the earth from destroying the bodies of the Prophets (pbut).

According to a hadith by ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: ”Dua is suspended between heaven and earth and none of it is taken up until you send blessings upon your Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).”

(Classified as hasan by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi).

“O ALLAH, bless our master Muhammad and his wives and progeny and all the prophets and messengers and closest angels and the righteous servants of ALLAH on the amount of all rain that has showered from the day since it was formed and bless our master Muhammad on the number of all plants the earth has produced since it was spread out and bless our master Muhammad on the number of the stars in the sky for You Alone are able to tally them!

 

And bless our master Muhammad on every breath of every soul from the moment You created them and bless our master Muhammad in everything You have already created and in what You will create and in whatever is encompassed by Your Knowledge and then double all of that!” Ameen!
