It is with much joy and happiness that we congratulate our Son, Brother, and Comrade on the  completion of his Doctoral Studies.  May Allah continue to guide and protect him.  We are very proud of our young Comrade.  

History mentions the oral defense for doctorates was established as a sort of Rites of passage and opportunity for candidate to show familiarity and mastery of their topics...I feel it may have also been established so orators may also prove themselves in relation to their writing abilities... Alhamdulillah, I was successful at defending my dissertation. 28th day of Ramadan 2026..

As a spiritual leader for the Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam, his responsibilities encompass a wide range of essential services that support both the spiritual and practical needs of our community. He delivers the Khutbah and lead prayers for Jumu'ah and Eid, providing congregants with spiritual nourishment and guidance. Additionally, He offers funeral services and spiritual counseling to families during their times of loss, ensuring they receive the support necessary to navigate grief.

Imam Hamed's  role also includes conducting matrimonial services, helping couples embark on their journey together in accordance with Islamic principles. He provide family and youth counseling, addressing their unique challenges and fostering a nurturing environment for growth and development.

Engaging in community activities is vital to promoting interfaith dialogue and enhancing public relations for Islam and Muslims. The Imam actively develop educational and extracurricular programs tailored for the youth, emphasizing their involvement and personal growth. Collaborating with the Majlis Ash Shuraa, He assist in organizing annual fundraising initiatives to sustain our Masjid. Additionally, he offer consultation on religious matters and community issues, ensuring that the Masjid remains a guiding light for all members of our community.
