awareness about the need within our Muslim ummah for increased dialogue and stronger solidarity. We have called upon our Muslim brothers and sisters from all around metro Atlanta and beyond to join with us, as we have prepared for your delight, a special “Leadership Awards“ ceremony and fundraiser banquet. The theme of our program is called “Building Bridges The Islamic Way”. This special awards function will be representative of the diversity of Muslims that happily reside within our geographical location. Muslims from all walks of life ethnically and culturally will be honored during this afternoon, Insha’Allah. It is being slated as an afternoon of Muslim-styled enjoyment and wholesome spiritual upliftment.

We feel that Allah(سبحانه و تعالى) has provided us with a wonderful opportunity to strengthen the goodness of the common bond that exists between the various Muslim communities, in and around the metro Atlanta area. The Community Masjid West End enthusiasticaly supports strong Muslim leadership. Moreover, we want to signal to the whole of the Muslim ummah, by way of this "Leadership Awards" event, our recognition of some of the great leaders that we have amongst us. There are dozens more that we would have loved and would have been honored to include; but unfortunately, we were under obvious size constraints and therefore limited to the number of persons we could select. However, we do intend to make this an annual event - Insha’Allah. Also, we would be remiss if we did not recognize some of those persons within the broader community who have demonstrated their unyielding support for the Muslims. These are our Muslim leaders and supporters that we will collectively and proudly salute for their outstanding and continuous service to benefit not only us as Muslims; but for their ongoing and positive impact on the public at large. 

May Allah(سبحانه و تعالى) Bless us with your attendance at this monumental, magnificent and historic occasion.
