Ramadan Kareem. I pray you and your family are reaping the benefits of this blessed month. Please meet our sister Muna. Muna is a Palestinian mother who lives in a dilapidated shelter in Gaza with her husband and three children. She wells up in tears when she speaks about their situation. Like any mother, she wishes she could give her children the best of everything, but even simple pleasures like a bag of chips are out of reach. She often has to go from neighbor to neighbor just to secure a bag of bread.

Their situation has always been difficult, but the pandemic made things worse. They have been frequently hungry ever since.

On many nights, she lays her children down to sleep, a cup of tea the only thing keeping their bellies full until she can find food again. With Ramadan on the horizon, she is eager to cook consistent, proper meals for her family. But the lack of fuel, food, and supplies dims her light.

She and many like her need you to help reignite their hope. $60 feeds a family like Muna’s during Ramadan.
