Roads Lead To Montgomery Alabama

Join us for All Roads Lead to the South — a National Day of Action taking place Saturday, May 16, 2026, in Selma and Montgomery, Alabama, with satellite activations happening across the country.

Following the Supreme Court’s Callais decision and escalating attacks on voting rights and fair representation across the South, more than 90 civil rights, voting rights, faith, labor, and community organizations are coming together to organize, mobilize, and build power for the road ahead.

The day will begin with prayer and remembrance at the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, honoring the legacy of those who marched in 1965 and the generations who fought to expand democracy in America. In the afternoon, organizations and communities will gather in Montgomery for a national rally and call to action rooted in the spirit and legacy of Freedom Summer.

In addition to events in Alabama, organizations and communities nationwide are hosting satellite activations.
