Comment by Bilal Mahmud المكافح المخلص on January 18, 2026 at 5:50pm: In the photo above is my son-in-law, Abu Ibrahim, and Sheikh Khalid Drammeh, who is the director of Maahad Senior Secondary School. The school is located in the Brikama West Coast Region. Sheikh Drammeh's father founded the largest Arabic/English school in The Gambia in 1978, and it ranks number 1 in Arabic and number 4 in English.

Sheikh Alhagie Banding Drammeh, began the school with the sole aim of promoting education in the Gambia, particularly in Brikama and its surrounding communities, established the organization in 1978. Before the establishment of the school, there was only one senior secondary school.
