An American nurse, rescued from Gaza a few days ago, has described horrific experiences in the war-torn area. Emily Callahan, nurse activity manager with Doctors Without Borders, said that she and her team nearly starved to death due to lack of food and water. She said she also saw children with severe burns on their bodies amid constant bombardment by Israel. She added that "there is no safe place in Gaza" right now. Callahan said she and her team saw "children with justmassive burns down their faces, down their necks, all over their limbs". She also spoke about the condition of relief camps and said that a camp with over 50,000 people has four toilets that get water supply for four hours in a day.
