Brother Malcolm with his teacher, Sheikh Ahmed Hassoun from the Sudan. Sheikh Hassoun returned to the United States with Brother Malcolm in 1964. He prepared Brother Malcolm's body for his janazah (funeral) prayers and burial. The janazah prayers were lead by then 32-old Sheikh Heshaam Jaabber from Elizabeth, New Jersey.
