Dear Brothers and Sisters

I pray that this message will find each of you in the full protection of Allah.  Some week ago, an appeal went out to ask for help for one of our brothers in need , due to a very serious illness.  I am referencing to our brother  Dr. Amin Best.  When the appeal went out the target was $5000.00 to help our brother with some of his expenses during this very difficult time in his life.  When such times occur they are not just a test for the individual on which this test has fallen.  It becomes a test for the whole ummah as to, how do we respond during such trying times.  As our Prophet has taught us, the believer are like one body, when one limb is injured, the whole body feels the pain and responds.  I must say each of you have responded very well, and made this project a total success.  Today, May 13, 2012 I sent the second of two disbursements to Dr. Best.  The total amount sent to our brother not only made our goal, of $5000.00, but surpassing it by 22%.  Allah is Great, no... He is the Greatest!!!

I did speak with Dr. Best today and he is very touched by the over whelming response that has been shown him during this most difficult time in his life.  May Allah give each of you a good reward in this life and in the hereafter.  Again thank you so very much!!!
