Some 17 million children across the U.S. live in poverty, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, and that number is on

the rise. Islamic Relief USA is partnering with the U.S. Department of Agriculture to provide nutritious meals to needy children in our communities.
First lady Michelle Obama is asking the Muslim community to help establish 50 new sites where nutritious meals will be provided to children living in high-poverty areas throughout the country.
Current projects are underway at

• Cmecca School in South Holland, IL 
• Al-Maa'uun in Minneapolis
• Dar Al Hijra, Falls Church, VA
• Greater Lansing Islamic School in East Lansing, MI

We ask you to join us to help feed the future—and helping is as easy as 1-2-3:

1. Establish a food distribution site in your area.
2. Volunteer to help an existing summer food service program in your neighborhood.
