Masjid Al-Hedaya will be holding a fundraising event on Sunday, June 8, 2014 to raise money to build a new Masjid,
insha'Allah. We hope you can attend this fundraising event by purchasing tickets at www.icmga.org. The ticket is only $30/person.
Alhamdulillah, with Allah's help and our community's support, we purchased 6 acres of land last October 2013. Now we want to begin building the new Masjid on the land. But before we can, Cobb County requires us to add an access lane to enter and exit the parking lot (to avoid congestion or accidents), a sewer extension, driveway, sidewalk, and detention pond. We expect to complete this first phase by the summer, insha'Allah.
Then we can start the second phase of building a larger community Masjid. Our goal is to start praying in this Masjid by the end of the year, insha'Allah. We cannot achieve this goal without your financial support.
Please attend the event and support Masjid Al-Hedaya. We need your support to complete these phases. Please join us in our fundraising efforts by purchasing tickets at www.icmga.org (only $30/person) and attending the event on June 8 (see the flyer below).
Every penny counts! I know you have heard this before, but we'll say it again because the reward is too large to ignore: Whoever shares in building a Masjid for Allah, even if it is as small as a bird’s nest, Allah (swt) will build for him a house in Paradise.
Even better: Anyone who helps in building a Masjid earns the reward for every person who prays or reads the Qur'an in that Masjid, enters the Masjid to perform wudu, or performs any other good deed.
But wait, there’s more! Unlike other good deeds you earn now, this reward keeps working for you until the Day of Judgment. Any contribution toward building a Masjid is considered by Allah (swt) a charity that counts even after you leave from this world.
