On May 29, 2018, the Honorable Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms of Atlanta, Ga. hosted the second annual Ramadan Iftar. The event took place in the Atrium of the Atlanta City Hall, being attended by members from the Atlanta Muslim community, and other faith-based organizations, along with a host of members from city, state and federal government. The Iftar was an auspicious occasion to be long remembered by all in attendance. Our Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, was a most gracious host, reminding the audience that her mission in office is to make Atlanta a premier city, and to cultivate all inclusiveness of it different communities, religions, and ethnic groups. .On behalf of OPOW, and the wider Muslim community, we at OPOW would like to extend our most sincere gratitude to our Mayor for facilitating this most gracious display of diversity of the Atlanta Community. Thank you Mayor Keisha Lance Bottom for continuing this much needed, and appreciated tradition of the Atlanta City Government...
