Today, May 15, 2022, officially marks the culmination of another level in the educational journey of my
beloved daughter Ruyaa Khadeejah Mahmud. With much joy and happiness I get the honor of observing the conference upon her a Masters Degree, from Mercer’s University, in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. It seems as though it was yesterday she was learning to read, now by the grace of Allah and many years of consistent hard work, another milestone on the journey of life has been achieved. Not only did she achieve this goal, but it was achieved with a 4.0 GPA. Job well done. Along with her accomplishment of this milestone, she went on to retain her license as a professional counselor (LAPC/Licensed Professional Counselor ) in the state of Georgia. And the journey continues...
